Letter to Granny:

I wrote this by hand last night, as N had the television on and it would have drove me nuts to try and write this kind of thing with the TV people having a drama on in the background.

What would it be like to change your life irreversibly? To open up the inner part of ourselves? To know for sure, and definite, that the universe around us is the least stable thing of all? To change, to become more than ourselves, to truly know that we are evolving, we must first change our minds. To become aware of this place we find ourselves in, we must first look within. For within ourselves lies all the answers to every question we could think up. Within our minds lies, not only the key, but also they mysteries we seek to know and find. Ourselves is the mystery. The outer body is for naught without the wonders of the inner mind. In each of us heralds a new beginning, the dawning of a new era of mankind, one where he will truly begin to understand himself.

Each to understand himself, each to know that he/she is not separate, not alone, but a part of a whole – more to the point each soul, each body, each and every fibre of their being is like the single flame within the raging fire, burning. Unaware of itself within the whole, no true lines of separation.

The change of oneself, the true key to change is within the mind. First the mind changes to accept this new order or way of thinking, and gradually as it is accepted the mind is altered. Only when the mind can truly accept that the universe is not this physical plane, but merely the only things we see reflected back to us, then the mind can accept other things.

A physical being, truly aware, is one who can no longer need the things of the physical. One who no longer has to obey the precincts the mind has set, the Laws of Gravity, etc. This being does not need to ‘incarnate’ physically to appear and interact as a physical being on this plane. The being who is truly aware of the ultimate state of himself and the life around him, could move with ease between states, etc. Students make great teachers, and so those who come back to appear to those on this earthly plane to teach, are often not the highest evolved beings, but the students of another level. Teaching can offer a student more of chance to collate all the things they have learned and to give back some of that knowledge. It is often beneficial to the student, as well as the one who is teaching; the other student.

Such beings may appear to have great powers, and be able to achieve ‘impossible’ things. Such men are no different from any other, except in their mentality and their inner self knowledge, some know only intuitively that they are different, and that they are aware of this world in a different way to others.

I am here to tell you that these mortal men who appear to have these extraordinary powers, may be men who have ‘old’ souls with lots of inner knowledge and high spirited people. Yet these people are neither perfect – nor any ‘higher’ or ‘lower’ to you in spiritual dimensions. The path to change, and the change in physical world is within your mind.

Belief comes in many forms, and in many faces. The object is not to bend spoons but to bend your mind.

“Fly free, unleash yourselves from the chains that bind you, and discover for yourselves the true nature of this place, know truly the face you wear is not your own, and but a mask you have on for a brief time. Time to dance again my friend and don the beautiful mask you wear. Over each mask a cloth, must hide the features, mustn’t reveal too much. The dance goes on, the song just began, join the choir for a round, don’t heed the sound of breaking glass.” This came at the end of my writing and came through exactly like that.

The soul. A complex and frightening concept to behold in all it’s completeness. It is both being and organ, instrument and player. The vastness of it’s apparent simplicity stretches to the limits of imagination and takes on the form of a giant machine, perfect in it’s variety of complexities, impulses and frailties. Yet still we endure, ever onwards towards goals only half dreamed of, and little known.

To know one self, is a difficult thing. To face ones Self, in that mirror we spoke of. The one facing in on itself? Can any one tolerate such bare naked knowledge of the intimacies we cannot face? Questions for you, and no answers to speak of. Nor write of. Quality of silence such as it is, should speak volumes of whispers to your inner self.

Type of persons that we are. Each in our own separate drama of life, the creation of a dream, “the life”, as I know of it, is a dream to me. Nothing more than a brief aberration into a distinct portion of ourselves that we could not normally face, and then it is only a portion because as I have said no one could support the totality of themselves face to face. Each life faces another mask we have, each life assesses us in different ways, and only we are the judge, the jury, or the executioner. Only we decide if we have passed our set tests in this life, or the next, and only the journey to our destinations can give us the knowledge, the tools or the weapons to face the trials ahead.

Each person, as I am sure I have mentioned before, is different. Each person containing different opinions, thought structures, views and outlooks, identity. Each person, yes, however there are groups of similar thinking individuals out there, hence organised religion. These people, and many others of like minds, yet different to others, need to receive and connect with the energy we know and speak of as Spirit in different ways.

It must be pointed out at this juncture that there are those in ‘spirit’ form that share these groups of peoples outlooks, or modes of thinking and operating. Therefore those people incarnate who have these attitudes and modes of thinking, will draw to them by their thought forms and energy, the kind of spirits they need. 

People think very similarly to the way they draw energy into their lives. They will take on board and choose to believe that which they are most comfortable with, and can accept and agree as true within themselves. Each person receives and draws energy to them in much the same manner. A person who believes that there are aliens alive and well and attempting to over take the planet for colonisation, will begin to see signs and indications that his/her belief is a correct one. They will draw those spirits to them that share some, or all, or merely the same type of beliefs and systems that this person has. The energy that they draw to themselves will come in the way that is most acceptable to this person. By the type (and here I mean colour, vibration, and feeling or emotive thought) that this person sends out, or merely thinks about in their own head, sends out that beacon that says, these are my beliefs, and thoughts. This is what I want to see, what I will see. Any doubts are picked up at the same time as the person’s general make-up, and so the spirits that are drawn to him/her may only be there to observe them. Or they may be there to join him, talk to him, and discuss things. Energy may come to him in the way he wishes it to arrive. (An envelope with no return postal address, with a warning inside of it). Of course, like-minded individuals will be drawn to them, and so will those of a nature to be persuaded to his/her way of thinking. 

As you can see, it is hard for a person to let go of their private thoughts, or beliefs and just wait for it to come to them. A persons make-up will no doubt colour the very manner in which they think in any course, and this could be seen as an obstacle to overcome, or merely the type of tool one has to learn with. It may not be perfect, but then only pure spirit can truly be named this thing called perfect. And let us not forget the meddlesome interference of the ego self. It is often seen as a hindrance, an impossible nuisance to overcome, and downgrade as the left over remnants of our past era, when man was internally self motivated, only for the primal driving forces of his basic nature. I do not see it as such, but then I am not the same as everyone else. 

The ego, or base nature, the force that many see as the thing to overcome, and the part of ourselves many believe to be only an minor inconvenience of the earthly incarnate body, that leaves us on passing over (or death). I do not see it as this either. The ego, or lower-base self is a purely human impulse, true. (Yet also not, if you have been reading any of my letters). This ego, does not leave us, and it is not necessarily something to overcome, for none of the human attributes are anything to ‘overcome’. There are no spiritual ‘handicaps’. Each part, and function, of ourselves has purpose.

Does not the ego in itself, force us to operate and function at a base level here on the earthly plane. For with what else does the human race continue to reproduce, except from primal urging’s originating from our egos?

I have not much to say to you, any of the ‘you’ who will read this letter, on the life you lead on this earthly plane. To ease it, or merely to understand your own personal drive, and journey through your time here. I can tell you to watch the colours you are drawn to, as these will change from day to day, and those colours can speak volumes to you if you listen to them. I tell you to trust yourself, and your instincts as correct and true as these come from inside you and are mostly guided by spirit. I can tell you to watch the wind, and the weather, as these earthly forces are not so unrelated to you as you might think. The nature of the weather around you is often quite closely linked to you, and of course the energy of the weather is going to directly affect you no matter what you think. (And I am not referring to the rain on your head). The approaching energy of a new storm after days of rain for example (my favourite time of weather) carries with it on the fore-running winds newly charged energy from the earth, from the rain, and from the approaching build up of energy in the air. You can almost taste and feel it around you in the air. Follow the weather with your internal senses for a week and find out how you and your moods, thinking, and body is affected by the weather around you. As for how you affect the weather, well, let me tell you to experiment with it in your thoughts.

What else can I possible suggest to you, to ease this ‘tiresome’ journey you face? Well, there is the suggestion that your thoughts contain a huge key to knowing. Use your thoughts to visualise where you want to be and how you wish to be, and eventually you will direct the boat of your journey ride to your desired destination. If you wish to lose weight (not an unrealistic imagining for some; more directly myself) than you have to change the way in which you think about yourself. It is a simple thing, but not an easy thing to do. You have to think of yourself as slim. That is all. Slim people do not eat like larger people, they do things differently. Slim people have confidence in themselves, right? Or so it would seem. So have confidence in yourself. Do not let others thoughts, and self criticisms affect you. Be your own person, and be confident, for now you are a slim person. Next step on this course of visualisation, now that you feel differently about yourself, is to enjoy your life, fully. Do the things you would do, and have promised yourself to do, when you lost that weight, or reached that goal. For in your mind, you have already achieved it. In theory, your body is merely an extension of your mind.

(Ok, as an aside, this all sounds good on paper. Much harder to achieve in ‘real’ life. But, then I think what this spirit was trying to tell me, is to feel good about myself now, and this will motivate my body, mind, and spirit into achieving the goals before me). Simply wipe out the negative, self-defeating energy that comes with the thoughts that tell you, you are not the way you wish to be, and you will encourage the positive energy into your life.

Ok, I am beginning to wonder if I sound nutty. (Starting to have those weird double thoughts again when I wonder if I am altogether there).
